By downloading or using Recipal, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Use of the App
Recipal is a personal recipe management tool. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Interfere with the security or performance of the service
Your Content
You retain ownership of the recipes and content you save in Recipal. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and sync that content solely to provide the service.
Please be mindful of copyright when importing recipes from third-party websites, social media, or other sources. Recipal is a personal organisation tool — imported content should be used for personal use only.
Accounts
You can sign in using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@getrecipal.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Subscriptions & Payments
Recipal offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription available as a monthly or yearly plan.
- Free tier — available to all users at no cost.
- Premium (monthly) — billed monthly via the Apple App Store.
- Premium (yearly) — billed annually via the Apple App Store. Includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
All subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store account. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time in your device's subscription settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds outside of Apple's standard refund policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Recipal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. Nutrition information is automatically estimated based on ingredient data and should not be relied upon for medical, dietary, or clinical purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Henrik Dymke is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use Recipal.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
